Pha Yar Gyi Kone village is part of Shwe Taung Thu farmers group, which translates to ‘Golden Farmer’. As a farmer-owned venture, they use a cooperative model to empower small-scale farmers, giving them control over coffee production, pricing and community contributions, and an overall incredible amount of valuable support to better quality control and fairer trade conditions.
This coffee is grown and processed by 200 households from Pha Yar Gyi Kone village and with its juicy, sweet and bright profile, it really reflects this community’s meticulous attention to detail from bean to cup.
This coffee has us dreaming of summer. With bright sticky notes of juicy oranges, and syrupy melted ice lollies. It's a delicious cup black or white.
