Mr. Li and Mrs. Na have come back this year with yet another banger and we just couldn't resist getting our greedy hands on their juicy crop once more. And just in time for Year of the Snake, a time for renewal and transformation—which seems to have inspired the vibrant flavours in this harvest.
The farm stretches across 80 acres of beautiful mountain terrain, sitting at an altitude of 1600 to 1700 metres. Among the coffee plants, you’ll find shade trees like macadamia, fruit trees, and leguminous varieties. Alongside coffee, Fuyan also produces around 7 tonnes of speciality-grade tea each year.
What really sets Fuyan Farm apart is its wonderful variety. As well as coffee and tea, they rear chickens, fish, pigs, and ducks, and grow chillies, Chinese herbs, and wild orchids—all set against the breath-taking backdrop of the Yunnan mountains.
Naturally processed, this coffee has some serious bounce and fruitiness to it—a fitting tribute to the lively spirit of the Year of the Snake!
