Gender equity is a longstanding challenge for the coffee industry; Female coffee growers have less access to land, credit, training, and basic education even as women make key contributions to plant care, harvest, and processing coffee.

Our partners at Primavera purchase 84-85 point coffees from smallholder farmers in Huehuetenango each year to blend into a classic profile. For the Primavera Sisterhood blend, the same guidelines are used but selected only from female producers. Extra funds for this go towards workshops and education for women farmers.

A well-rounded, smooth coffee with notes of tangy raspberries, a simple sugar sweetness and red apple acidity.
