Whoever said decaf was boring? Some of the highest scoring coffees coming through our doors have been decaf and what they lack in caffeine, they make up for in fireworks across your tongue, and we’re all about celebrating flavour first and foremost.

If you guys have stayed with us a while, you’ll know we had an insane natural processed decaf from Jairo Arcila in 2023. Now this year, we’ve revisited the harvest and man, we didn’t think it could get any better than it already was!

Bright, juicy vibrant notes of big yellow tropical fruits, a well rounded base and a lovely syrupy moreish texture.

Naturally processed, the fermentation has pronounced and emboldened all the complex fruity flavours that this 100% Castillo has to offer.


Producer background

Jairo is, without a doubt, one of Colombia’s biggest speciality coffee legends! 

Since planting his first Caturra lot at his farm Finca La Esmeralda in 1987, Jairo now owns six coffee farms across Colombia.

This decaf has been grown at Jairo's most recently purchased farm in Buenos Aires. Naturally sun-dried on raised beds and processed using the innovative, environmentally-friendly decaffeination method: Sugarcane E.A.
