10% DONATED TO TREEDOM
Introducing our latest house espresso Greenhouse. A beautiful example of Peruvian coffee that tastes good, does good, feels good.
Grown in Peru's third largest coffee producing region San Martín, Greenhouse is a clean washed coffee with beaut buttery notes of macadamia, butterscotch and sweet white grape.
It works well across all milk-based coffees, yet it is delicate enough to sing as an espresso or on filter.
🌲 More about Treedom:
Treedom is a certified B corp and the world’s first digital platform that allows individuals to plant trees remotely.
Through geotagging, Treedom’s supporters can follow the story of their trees, the projects they're part of and learn more about planted species.
10% of each Greenhouse sale will be donated to Treedom to support global agroforestry projects and grow our very own virtual forest.
With the help of your business, the forest will become home to coffee shrubs, papaya plants, cacao and guava trees, each species carefully selected by Treedom to support farmer needs.
We'll be able to plant 1 tree per 5 kilos of Greenhouse we sell, and you'll be able to track the impact of your purchase via the Odd Kin Virtual Forest.
We've planted 10 trees so far, help us achieve our goal of 100 trees!
🇵🇪 Peu & Volcafe Way
Peru is a coffee flavour volcano on the verge of erupting and we’re in it for the ride. We’ve been able to roast Greenhouse with help from our friends at Volcafe, a green importer that has been working with Peruvian coffee producers since 2014.
Despite Peru having the ideal topography and terroir for coffee growing, climate change, deforestation and unsustainable farming practices threaten the future of coffee in this region.
Through Volcafe’s farmer support programme, Volcafe Way, over 2,500 coffee producers have been supported with agronomy training and sustainable business models for future generations to build on.
We’ve launched Greenhouse with three aims:
- To raise funds and awareness for agroforestry projects
- To shine a light on the important work of our sustainable import partners
- To showcase all that speciality Peruvian coffee has to offer
Tastes Good. Does Good. Feels Good. Enjoy folks!
